Welcome to Ripon City Football Club. Here you will be able to follow the progress of all things concerning Ripon City FC. We have been established since 1898 and we are a genuine grass roots community club.
Our first team play in the West Yorkshire Premier Division whilst our reserve team hone their skills in the West Yorkshire Alliance One Division. Our Sunday team play in Claro League Division One and, on the occasional Sunday afternoon, Ripon Veterans will grace the pitch before retiring to the clubhouse for drinks and chip butties!
We are a very friendly club run for the benefit of the community who enjoy football and all that goes with it.
However we are not without ambition and are currently seeking to relocate to much larger premises which we see us sell our present home at Mallorie Park. We hope to build a sports complex that will allow us to progress to a higher standard of football whilst providing excellent facilities which can be used by the local community.
Ripon City FC are looking for new team managers for both their first and second team squads. A nice setting high in the Brighouse Hills for this West Yorkshire League clash for two teams who are looking to finish as high up the table as possible. With the use of the school facilities the away changing room was one of the best Ripon get on their travels, which went down well with [...]
The West Yorkshire League Cup Final takes place at the excellent Manse Lane, home of Knaresborough Town FC. The visitors are Horbury Town who had an excellent Semi Final victory over high flying Premier League side Oxenhope Recreation. This should be an excellent match. Ripon were lucky enough to play their Semi Final at the [...]
A very competitive game saw the scores level at 0-0 after ninety minutes. Both teams had chances to win in normal time, with both keepers very impressive throughout.
