About Us

Ripon City Football Club is continuously moving forward. The club currently field four senior football teams from their Mallorie Park site. These represent the club in the West Yorkshire Premier, West Yorkshire Alliance Division One, Claro Sunday League, and Veterans fixtures respectively.

Recently the club has announced plans to relocate from their Mallorie Park site to a purpose-built facility in the nearby area. In order for the club to progress up the current football pyramid, relocation is a necessity.

The Northern Counties East League First Division will be the next step up for Ripon City. It is a Step 6 League and the club must meet the specific Ground Grading requirements laid down by the FA.

The NCEL has minimum requirements, the main one being the provision of suitable floodlighting to the required standard before acceptance into the league.

Other necessities include a covered seated area for at least 50 people, a covered standing area for 50 people, and a suitable boundary fence around the full ground. Other requirements include a complete pitch side barrier, hard standing around the pitch as well as facilities for spectators such as toilets.
