Ripon City’s First XI Cup fixture against Featherstone, fell foul of the weather, and was moved back to Mallorie Park, instead of a home fixture for Featherstone. Ripon City coming out as eventual winners, in a match that could, and should have seen more goals. Steve Davey started the scoring converting a penalty, after a Ripon player was hauled down inside the Featherstone area and added another to his tally later on in the game. Paul Margis scored a well taken header, popping in from the back post to power it past the Featherstone keeper.

Ripon City’s Reserves travelled to Leeds City Reserves in the cup, and found themselves returning after a 3-0 loss.

Claro Sunday League One

Daz Dennis’ Sunday League side, came out as 4-0 winners against Headingley Rovers at Mallorie Park in the league. A credible three wins on the bounce for the side, sees them slowly moving up the table. Goals scored by Mark Marsden (4) included a free kick from the half-way line that took the goalkeeper by surprise and nestled in the roof of the net. Other goals included a penalty and two strong headers.
