The Reserves continued their climb up the table with a comprehensive win over Whitkirk Reserves at the weekend . The hosts on this occasion coming out with a 4-0 win . This now means that Ripon move up to ninth in the table and still have games in hand on teams above them .

On Saturday it was Simon English who did the damage with two goals . Ryan Blanchard and Stephen Fletcher added the others . Ryan has now scored twelve for the season to take him to the top of the goal scorers list .

Next up for Ripon is a home fixture against Old Headingley Reserves . A victory here would see Ripon leap frog their rivals into eighth place .
